The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser carries forward the legendary reputation of one of the world’s most capable and reliable SUVs, blending rugged off-road prowess with modern comfort and technology. Designed for adventurers and everyday drivers alike, this latest Land Cruiser makes no compromise between trail-conquering capability and on-road refinement.

Engine & Performance

Under the hood, the 2025 Land Cruiser features the advanced 2.4 L i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain — a turbocharged four-cylinder paired with an electric assist that generates around 326 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque, while also improving fuel efficiency compared with traditional V-8 engines.

Every Land Cruiser comes with standard full-time 4-wheel drive, enhanced stability and traction systems, and multiple drive modes (Sport, Normal, Eco) that adapt the vehicle’s performance to your driving conditions — whether navigating highways or rough trails.

Off-Road Capability

Built on Toyota’s widely respected body-on-frame architecture, the 2025 Land Cruiser is engineered for serious terrain. It includes:

  • Full-time 4WD with locking center and rear differentials
  • Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control (CRAWL) for handling rocky or unstable surfaces
  • Optional Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism (SDM) for greater wheel articulation on uneven ground
These features make it equally capable on muddy trails as it is comfortable on paved roads.

Interior & Comfort

Inside, the Land Cruiser accommodates five passengers with a well-designed cabin that balances utility with comfort. Key features include:

  • Modern infotainment with touchscreen interface
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®
  • Available premium audio and larger digital display options
  • Climate-enhancing features such as heated seats and dual-zone climate control
Toyota places comfort and convenience at the forefront, ensuring long journeys are enjoyable for driver and passengers alike.

Safety & Technology

The 2025 Land Cruiser comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0, the latest active safety suite from Toyota, including:

  • Forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection
  • Lane-keeping and lane-centering assist
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert
These systems are designed to give you confidence in all driving environments.

Design

Visually, the 2025 Land Cruiser carries a bold and purposeful design that honors its heritage. With an upright stance, athletic fender flares, and rugged details, it projects capability while remaining refined and road-worthy.

In summary: the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is a capable hybrid SUV that blends legendary off-road ability, daily-friendly comfort, and modern tech — making it ideal for explorers, families, and anyone who wants a vehicle that’s as ready for adventure as it is for everyday life.

MULTI TERRAIN
By choosing one of the five drive modes at the touch of a dial, this revolutionary system provides the optimum traction you need to handle a wide range of road surfaces. In addition, when Crawl Control is active, AUTO mode is automatically selected and Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) matched to the pre-set vehicle speed is activated to help drivers of all levels to enjoy secure, sure-footed control when traveling over rough terrain.

CRAWL CONTROL
Crawl Control helps provide optimal throttle and brake control, maintaining a constant low speed to support safe, sure driving on sand, dirt, rock, snow, mud, steep grades or other surfaces that require fine accelerator control. Five speeds are offered, with fully automatic throttle and brake control that helps you to concentrate on steering the vehicle. The Turn Assist function helps the driver smoothly execute turns that would otherwise require multiple steering adjustments by helping to ensure steering response when traveling at a fixed speed.

Hill-start Assist Control & Down Hill Assist Control
Hill-start Assist Control contributes to smooth hill starts by automatically applying brake pressure to help hold the vehicle whenever rollback is detected. Down Hill Assist Control improves vehicle stability when driving down steep hills by maintaining a slow, constant speed and keeping the wheels from slipping.

SRS Airbags
Best-in-class collision protection for cabin occupants, thanks to Supplemental Restraint System, dual-stage driver airbag/front passenger airbag, along with available knee airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger, with side and curtain-shield airbags for 1st- and 2nd-row outer-seat occupants.
